Simple starting process.

Insert the 18V/20V battery into the unit. The green indicator light will illuminate. Connect the clamps to the positive (+) and negative (–) terminals of the vehicle battery (12V vehicles only).

When the starter indicator light turns green, start the vehicle. If required, allow 3–5 minutes for the battery to pre-charge before starting.

Once the engine has started, disconnect the starter from the vehicle battery and allow the engine to continue running.

After use, remove the battery from the starter unit.
